About the course:
The latest trend in cake decorations are the drip cakes. Usually adorned with macarons, buttercream and flowers, they usually make their way into beautifully composed dessert tables at all sorts of parties and celebrations.
Students will prepare their own sponge cake and learn how to assemble a layered cake. After the cake is assembled, they will finish with the drip decoration and decorate with macarons previously prepared by the instructor.
● Sponge cake (génoise)
● Simple syrup
● Flavored Italian meringue buttercream
● Chocolate ganache for the drip
● Macarons (not part of demo, just for decorations)
Price: $125 + tax per person
Structure: Demp + hands-on practice. Recipes are done while they are being taught and explained.
