SOURDOUGH

THE QUEEN OF THE TABLE

A hands-on basic sourdough bread class where Nella Cucina students will learn to make a loaf of sourdough bread from start to finish: mixing, shaping, scoring, and the nuances of proving and baking.  Students will also learn how to start their own culture and maintain it. Each participant will take home their own loaf, a portion of starter, a banneton (proofing basket with a retail value of $25.00!!) and a detailed hand-out which will include basic recipes and helpful hints to independently make their own sourdough bread at home. A light lunch is included.
