Nettie Cronish

In her varied career as a chef, Nettie Cronish has been a health spa chef, the owner of a vegetarian frozen food company, recipe developer for products and websites.  A respected natural foods  chef, teacher and cookbook author, she and her recipes have been featured in magazines, newspapers, on radio and television.

For the past 20 years, she has been resident cooking instructor at the Big Carrot Natural Foods store. She has taught  at George Brown College, Upstairs at Loblaws Cooking Schools, Calphalon Culinary Centre,  Nella Cucina and various LCBO locations. She has written 4 natural foods cookbooks: Nettie's Vegetarian Kitchen, New Vegetarian Basics The Idiot's Guide to Being Vegetarian in Canada and her most recent Everyday Flexitarian. She also writes  for Canada's Healthy Living Guide and Alive magazines.

Nettie is Chair of the Womens Culinary Network, and a Board member of Transfair Canada.
